ROOMS & SUITES
The Z Hotel aims at offering guests with luxury and comfort blended with contemporary design, each guest room comes with Travertine Marble floors imported from Turkey, Italian designer bathroom suites, crisp cotton bed linen from Egypt and bespoke furniture which is exclusive to the Z Hotel made from locally sourced coconut wood.
At Z Hotel there are 5 room designs that are Garden & Sea View, Roof – Top Suites, Ocean Front Cottages with private decks over the sea and Z Suite of 70 square meters with 2 terrace for guests looking for the ultimate in opulence.
Each bedroom has French doors set in floor to ceiling glass which lead onto a balcony with views over a landscaped tropical garden and out across the crystal blue waters of the Indian Ocean to the Magnificent Zanzibar Sunset on the distant Horizon.
Ocean Front Cottages
There are 2 Ocean Front Cottages at Z Hotel offering 60 square meters of living space arranged over 2 floors with a living room on the ground floor and bedroom on the 1st floor. These cottages are situated separately from the rest of the hotel and boast complete privacy with only the seemingly endless seascape of the Indian Ocean gently lapping the timbers beneath you.
Rooftop Suites
Rooftop Suites at Z Hotel are over 50 square meters of living space, they are light and airy encompassing all the benefits of the hotel’s deluxe rooms but with many additional features.
The rooftop suites are perched on top of the building and they feature a double – height beamed ceiling, a spacious private terrace, 42 inch Icd televisons and uninterrupted views across the Indian Ocean to the Tanga Mountains in the far distance.
Garden & Sea View rooms
Garden & Sea View rooms at The Z Hotel occupy the ground floor offering easy access to the tropical gardens, pool and beach, these rooms are a perfect spot to catch to wonderful aromas from the equatorial plants and flowers.
The sea view rooms are on the 1st and 2nd floors offering panoramic views from the northern tip of Nungwi out across to the distant Tanga Mountains and continuing down the west coast of the island. These rooms are flooded with natural light until evening when the sunsets.
Note: not all the sea view rooms are direct facing sea views, some may be from the side and some may also have palm tree between the balcony and the sea view.
The Z suite
The stunning Z Suite are 70 square meters of opulent living space arranged across an entire rooftop with fully fold-back doors to create a seamless synergy between inside and out. The suite boasts a stunning light and airy signature suite.
The Z suite also incorporates a 45 meters wrap – around terrace, separate living and sleeping area with a queen size bed, soft Italian, leather furnishing and private staircase.

Cinnamon & Rooftops
This is an all – day dining 2 floor restaurant & bar situated on the 1st & 2nd floor overlooking the ocean and the amazing Zanzibar sunsets, both spaces offers a casual menu of Asian inspired platters, sushi & stir fries along with simple western classics like burgers, pizzas and salads. Also a selection of Zanzibar dishes including the famous stone town masala and a generous selection of homemade desserts including sticky date pudding and chocolate fondant are offered.
The Bar – is fully stocked with a range of imported drinks and is perfectly positioned for watching the magnificent Zanzibar sunset at the end of day at the fabulous Nungwi Beaches while enjoying the hotel signature cocktails.
The Cinnamon & Rooftops is open to the sky and has two dining tables and comfortable sofas to sit back and enjoy the views of the ocean, Nungwi beach and the sunset.
On Wednesdays and Saturdays from 5 pm to 08:30 pm, the Dj plays soothing music, there is also a daily happy hour cocktails between 5 pm and 8 pm, however guests are advised to come early as it fills quickly during the busy hours.

Sexy Fish
Sexy Fish is a signature al fresco style restaurant open for supper from 07.30pm, the restaurant offers a contemporary African – European fusion seafood menu that includes locally – sourced fish and seafood prepared from Zanzibar and the surrounding islands. The Hotel’s Bangali head chef rasel and hs team offer array of fresh fish, lobster, crab among others all cooked with the world- famous Zanzibar Spices.
The atmosphere of this restaurant is one of the simple elegance where guests can sample some of the finest cuisine Zanzibar has to offer, including tuna ceviche, lobster, tempura, Senegalese crab curry, champagne prawns and simple grilled.
The restaurant also serves imported wines from the hotel’s international wine selection.
Sky Spa
The Sky Spa at the Z Hotel is located on the 3rd floor above the reception, the spa opens from 09 am to 7 p. Sky Spa’s facilities include 2 luxurious treatment rooms, spacious treatment Terrance, relaxing lounge reception area and changing and shower facilities.
Visitors staying at The Z Hotel can treat themselves to a relaxing and beneficial massage for both mind and body, the massage treatments work on relieving music tension, stress and a general sense of wellbeing. Nail treatments are also offered at the Sky Spa.
All treatments at the Sky Spa include a complimentary welcome glass of sparkling wine or fresh fruit juice.
Jungle gym
Jungle gym is a new gym at the Z Hotel open daily from 7 am to 10 pm, the gym is located on the 2nd floor of the reception building and ideally situated just one floor down from the new Sky Spa and the new 4th floor open air yoga and viewing deck.
This spacious gym has both changing and shower facilities, all of these equipments are supplied by Life Fitness and includes

Open air yoga
The new open Air Studio at the Z Hotel hosts a varied range of daily morning and evening yoga classes, it doesn’t matter if you are new to yoga or an experienced yogi. The Hotel’s yoga schedule caters for everybody and include foundational yoga classes, pure Vinyasa flows and slower sessions that are sealed with meditation as the sunsets over the Indian Ocean.
Yoga Classes take place on the roof top of the reception building, ideally situated just one floor up from the new jungle Gym and the Sky Spa. Yoga mats and changing rooms with shower facilities are available.
Morning class – 08-09 Am (60 minutes)
Evening classes – 05.30 – 7 pm (90 minutes).
