Serengeti National Park

Serengeti national park is found in northern Tanzania and it offers outstanding wilderness experiences to tourists. It is one of the leading national park in Tanzania situates in the Mara and simiyu regions. The park used to be a grazing area for pastoralists people for over 200 years.

Serengeti national park is the country’s oldest park well known foe wildebeests and zebra migration. Tarangire National Park

Tarangire national park is in the manyara region of Tanzania, 118 kilometers south west of Arusha town and it’s an ideal place to see. It’s renowned for its highest concentration of elephants and termite mounds. The park is a home of many animals as well as a lot of plant life and also crossed by river Tarangire streamlined with a lot of wildlife quenching thirst in the afternoon.

Tarangire national park offers a thrilling experience and glorious landscapes covered with glamorous woodlands acacia trees and baobab together with seasonal swamps. Saanane National Park

Saanane national park is located on Lake Victoria island where the boat ride takes about 20 to 15 minutes from Mwanza town in Tanzania where most of the animals were ferried to the park between 1964 and 1966. It was first established as a zoo and it was the first zoo.

Saanane national park is a very small game park which offers the following activities; game viewing, guided nature walks, rock hiking, boat riding, spot fishing, picnic sites and bird watching. The park can be visited throughout the year but the best time to visit is in June to August for those who love the clear view.

Ruaha National Park

Ruaha national park is the most remote and probably the most filled with animals in the southern Tanzania circuit compared to other parks in the southern area and its 239 kilometers away west of Iringa. The name of the park was derived from Ruaha River which passes with in the park and includes Rungwa national park.

Ruaha national park has African wild dog and Mwangusi is the best area to spot lions. The park has the following activities which include; bird watching, night game drives, guided nature walks and the game drives.

Arusha National Park

Arusha national park is a small park in the north eastern region of Tanzania just a few kilometers from Arusha the nearest town. The park is beautifully endowed with magical landscapes and striking views and it overlooks mount Meru and it’s an awesome place to go to.

Arusha national park engages in the following activities which include; mountain climbing, game drives, canoeing, bird watching and guided nature walks. The park can be visited throughout the year but the highest peaks are always during the months of June to October for game drives for birders is between November to April and the mountain climbers of Kilimanjaro is during the months of December to February.

Gombe stream National Park

Gombe stream national park is located in Kigoma region and is renowned for habituating chimpanzees and other primates like red tailed monkeys and vervet monkeys, various bird species. The park is situated near the border of Burundi and Tanzania.

Gombe stream national park provides a thrilling experience and it can be accessed 16 kilometers from Kigoma town. The park offers the following activities which include; chimpanzee tracking, game viewing, sport fishing, bird watching and a nature guided walk

Katavi National Park

Katavi national park is a remote park located in the rift escarpment in western Tanzania with very rich diversity of miombo woodlands, grasslands, waterfalls, lakes and rivers. The Katuma rivers harbors river crocodiles, water birds and hippos.

Katavi national park is endowed with the largest herds of buffalos and it offers the following activities which include; game viewing, bird watching, guided nature walks, visit historical sites since katavi is rich in history, visit the tamarind tree which holds the history of the park and camping.

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara national Park is about 100 kilometers from Arusha in northern Tanzania which offers breath taking scenic views of the steep rift valley escarpment and the mighty splendid soda ash lake which has been called one of the most beautiful Lake in Africa.
