Sights & Attractions in Abu Dhabi : Abu Dhabi City also known as Abū Ẓaby in Arabic is the capital of The Emirate of Abu Dhabi one of the United Arab Emirates, the city occupies most of a small triangular island of the same name just off the Persian Gulf Coast and connected to the mainland by a short bridge.
Abu Dhabi is the second most populous city of the United Arab Emirates after Dubai and the center of the Abu Dhabi Metropolitan Area, this beautiful city grew into a bustling, modern city with broad boulevards, gleaming skyscrapers, high – rise buildings and busy shopping malls.

FERRARI WORLD ABU DHABI
The Ferrari World is located just outside of Abu Dhabi, just 1.5hour drive away from the center of Dubai, this theme park is completely dedicated to the famous sports car brand from the Italian Village of Maranello. The site is 86 thousand square meters, big enough for twelve football field.
The Ferrari is the largest indoor amusement park in the world, the park is a fascinating site not only because of its size but also Ferraris which are the major attraction, the bright red roof with a Ferrari logo of 65 x 48 meters providing the necessary publicity in the region.
Ferrari World – Abu Dhabi is located on the artificial Yas Marine Island is situated direcly at the Yas Marina Circuit where the Formula 1 is a guest for the great prize of Abu Dhabi every year. The amusement park is connected with the Yas Mall with over 350 stores the largest shopping center in Abu Dhabi.
SHEIK ZAYED GRAND MOSQUE IN ABU DHABI
Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi is the largest mosque in United Arab Emirates and the seventh largest mosque in the world, the mosque is an architectural icon capturing interactions between Island and other world cultures.

This beautiful mosque owes its name to the founder and first president of the United Arab Emirates, Zayid bin Sultan al Nuhayyan, the sheik gave the mosque its name and died in 2007 and was buried in the mosque in a special Mausoleum after his death. The Mausoleum can be found on the side of the mosque, unlike the rest of the mosque, taking pictures is prohibited in the part.
In the interior of the mosque, it has 82 domes, 1000 pillars and four minarets as many as 40,000 people can pray at the same time, Sheik Zayed Mosque houses the largest hand-woven carpet in the world. The carpet covers an area of 5600 square meters and was too large to ship to Abu Dhabi at once.
The mosque’s spectacular courtyard consists almost entirely of white marble and is beautiful decorated with floral motifs, gold leaf and precious stone. A part of the courtyard is open to visitors, the rest is fenced off with barriers.
LOUVRE ABU DHABI
The Iconic Louvre Abu Dhabi is an art museum located on Saadiyate Island in Abu Dhabi and is the first universal museum in the Arab world translating and fostering the spirit of openness between cultures, the museum runs under an agreement between the UAE and France signed in March 2007. This allows it to use the Louvre’s name until 2037 and has been described by the Louvre as France’s largest cultural project abroad.

Louvre Abu Dhabi is approximately 24,000 square meters in size with 8,000 square kilometers of galleries, this makes it the largest art museum in the Arabian Peninsula. The museum is also the most visited museum in the Arab world as it had been visited by over 2 million visitors by 2019.
Art works showcased in the museum are from around the world with stated intent to bridge the gap between Eastern and western art.
THE QASR AL WATAN PRESIDENTIAL PALACE IN ABU DHABI
The Qasr Al Watan is the newest attraction in Abu Dhabi and an amazing site worthy visiting, this beautiful site is a cultural monument of Qasr Al Watam located on the grounds of the gigantic presidential palace and the crown prince of Abu Dhabi have their own office and home.
The presidential palace of Abu Dhabi is known as one of the most beautiful palaces in the world, for a long time the palace was closed to the public until in March 2019 following the opening of Qasr Al Watan.

The construction of this beautiful palace was completed in 2017 and to celebrate the heritage of Abu Dhabi, sheikhs Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan – Ruler of Abu Dhabi and president of the United Arab Emirates and Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan – Crown Price of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supeme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces decided to open the palace to the public in 2019. Prior to its opening, the palace was used only for official purposes mainly hosting foreign leaders of states and for meetings of the country’s supreme council and federal cabinet. Even after being opened to the public, the palace continues to be used for the above purposes.
The Palace consists of many attractions including the mesmerizing
- Arabic architecture with gaint domes, large halls with marble floors and countless chandeliers and richly decorated ceilings
- The Great Hall – the center heart of the building with a size of 100 by 100 meters
- Library and video show among others.
YAS MARINA ABU DHABI CIRCUIT TOUR
Yas Marina Abu Dhabi Circuit is a formula 1 Circuit in the emirate of Abu Dhabi and one of the most expensive circuits ever built, the circuit was built at $ 250. This expensive price of the circuit’s construction is partly due to the circuit’s unique location on the artificial Yas Island next to the striking W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island and the Ferrari World theme park.
The circuit was designed by the well-known circuit designer Hermann Tilke, the circuit has 20 bends.
This circuit is also called “The Arab Monaco” due to its location at various marinas, Yas Marina Abu Dhabi Circuit is not only built around the Yas Viceroy Hotel, one of the curves of the circuit even goes under the hotel proving spectacular images during the TV broadcast.
EMIRATES PALACE MANDARIN ORIENTAL ABU DHABI HOTEL
The Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi Hotel is the most luxurious hotel in all of Abu Dhabi located at the end of the Corniche Road, the hotel is partially open to the public which is unlike to other luxury hotels of its status.
