The lodge has a total of 10 Canvas Tents boasting the beauty of the forest and high level comfort, the tents are exquisitely adorned with indigenous prints and furniture made from materials. Each tent exudes a sense of Serenity with breezy, neutral – toned linens draping the beds and local artefacts adding an authentic touch to the décor.

Each spacious, stone – walled bathroom features a revitalizing free – standing bath, plus a yoga mat for stretching out your tired limbs after the magical gorilla trekking.

Each Tent is of 48.5 square meters including bedroom, bathroom and outdoor decking.

Facilities in the tents include King size bed, En-suite door shower and bath and private decking area.

Child Policy

We welcome children of all ages at Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp.

• Children aged 2 and younger stay free of charge
• Children aged 3 – 15 pay child reduction rate when sharing with 2 full paying adults – please enquire for more details.
• In all other circumstances children pay the applicable adult fare.
• Children aged 15 and younger are required to share with their parents.
• The minimum age for gorilla trekking is 15 years

Baggage Restrictions

Maximum of 15kg of luggage per person is allowed for light aircraft flights, including hand luggage and camera equipment. Please ensure that all luggage is soft-sided.
