Paraa Safari Lodge : Strategically situated along the Victoria Nile downstream about 20 kilometers from the magnificent Murchison Falls is Paraa Safari Lodge, this luxury lodge was established in 1954 and is crowned as The Jewel of The Nile.
Paraa Safari Lodge is located in the north west of Uganda overlooking one of the nature’s best kept secrets, the River Nile on its journey from the source at Lake Victoria to join Lake Albert, here it is generally channeled into a gorge only six meters wide and cascade 43 meters below.

Paraa Safari Lodge was originally built in 1950s and it has maintained its historic charm since then, it features classic explorer décor and infused design providing visitors with exclusive comforts in the savannah bush. The lodge provides classic safari luxury amenities required by travelers on an African safari.

Paraa Safari Lodge has 54 guest rooms with each room complete with balcony and an en-suite private bathroom, but the choice of accommodation at the lodge varies from cottage, suites, double, twin or single.
Paraa Safari Lodge offers a unique blend of comfort relaxation and adventure, each of the rooms is a haven of style and serenity, complete with balcony and private en-suite bathrooms, fully air conditioned, a work table and chair, full length windows, framed photos and a private balcony.
Standard Rooms
Standard rooms at Paraa Safari Lodge are offered as standard single, double and twin rooms. These feature simple safari atmosphere with a level of comfort that will not disappoint, these rooms are also perfectly situated to view the lodge’s swimming pool as well the winding River Nile beyond.
Paraa Safari Lodge has three standard tents located a short walking distance from the main lodge building.

Restaurant
Treat yourself to the mouth-watering meals with a menu comprising of local and international specialties produced by experienced chefs, the Captain’s Table Restaurant is located on the upper floor in what one of the lodge’s main halls before it was renovated.
You can choose to eat inside or outside on the balcony which boasts a sweeping view.
The Gift Shop
The Gift Shop at Paraa Safari Lodge sells local East Africa craft and souvenirs such as guidebooks, clothing and safari essentials which you can buy at an affordable price and take home as souvenir.

The Explorer’s Bar at Paraa Safari Lodge is located on the upper floor of the lodge, next to the restaurant. The bar features comfortable sofas for visitors to cool off and enjoy a drink after a long day out in the bush. The bar serves eines, rums, whiskeys and drinks.
The Business Center
Business Service Center at Paraa Safari lodge opens from 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week. The center meets all the needs of the traveling business executive and includes 24 hours internet access as well as printing facilities.
