The façade of the building is a canvas for the quotes of His Highness Sheikh Mohammend Bin Rashid Al Maktoum rendered in the calligraphy of Mattar bin Lahej, the Symbolic form of the building that is the circular form of the building represents humanity. The green mound sits at a top represents the earth, the void represents the unknown future.
Museum of The Future was designed by Killa Design Architects and engineered by Buro Happold Engineering Consultancy.
The Façade of the Museum of The Future is made out of stainless steel and consists of 1,024 pieces manufactured by a specialized robot assisted process, the façade covers a total surface area of 17,600 square meters.
The Museum of The Future is among the most famous landmarks in Dubai taking pride of place along the city’s superhighway – The Sheik Zayed Road, the Museum was founded by the Dubai Future Foundation and was launched on 22 February 2022.
The Museum is referred to as a living Museum as it incorporates elements of traditions exhibitions, immersive theatre and themed attractions, the museum explore how society could evolve in the coming decades using science and technology and also offer visitors a look beyond the present and toward the future’s limitless possibilities.

Dubai Metro
The Metro’s Red Line has a station just outside the museum, once you are on ethe Red Line, get off at the Emirate Tower’s Stop which is connected to the museum via a foot bridge. It is easy to get to the museum directly from Dubai International Airport, just make your way to the station at Terminal 1 and hop a board the Red Line heading towards EXPO Metro Station.
Bus
Routes with a stop at Emirates Towers include 27, 29 and X22. From a popular district like City Walk, the shortest journey to the museum involves taking bus lines 28 to Dubai Mall followed by 29 to your final destination. From here, it is about 5 minutes to the Museum.
