This luxury beach holiday and bush safari starts in the northern Kenya where your journey starts at the luxury tented Sasaab Camp, immersed in the wild and rugged semi-arid Samburu landscape. Head to the Solio Ranch – home to the endangered black and white rhinos, where you will stay at the exquisite Solio Lodge, nestled in the valley between the Aberdare National Park and Mount Kenya – the tallest mountain in Kenya and second tallest in Africa.
From here, you fly to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve for an unforgettable wildlife safari experience. After exploring golden savannah bush, take time to relax and soak the sun whilst enjoy the immaculate white sandy beach days and take a swim in the Indian Ocean at the Kinondo Kwetu on the South Coast of Kenya. Fly to the Giraffe Manor in Nairobi City for a tranquil Retreat, where you will reflect on your Kenya adventures whilst enjoying the section of wellness facilities in the peaceful surrounds of the giraffe sanctuary.

12 Days Kenya Beach and Bush Safari Holiday – Day By Day Itinerary
Day 1&2: Samburu National Reserve
On landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transfer you to Wilson Airport for your one – hour flight to Samburu National Park. On arrival you will be met and taken to Sasaab in time for lunch.
Experience in Samburu and at Sasaab
A safari in Samburu National Reserve is very different to that of other destinations in Kenya due to its distinct climate, landscape, wildlife and culture. On game safaris you will spot the Samburu Special Five, endemic to the region that is Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk and Beisa Oryx.
Discover the traditional way of life of the semi-nomadic Samburu people through authentic cultural experience. The Sasaab camp is a luxury tented camp offering fantastic adventure opportunities. During your stay, take a camel ride or quad bike through the dry wilderness, sleep under the stars in the fly camp or just relax and take full advantage of the pampering spa treatments.

Day 3&4: Solio Game Reserve
After breakfast at the camp, you will be drive to Sasaab’s airstrip to take a short 20 minutes private charter flight to Solio airstrip in Solio Game Reserve.
Experience at Solio Game Reserve
The private Solio Game Reserve is home to incredible numbers of black and white rhinos making for unforgettable game drives. Explore the Solio Ranch by horseback, bicycle or foot. There are lots of exciting excursions on offer, including trout fishing in Aberdare National Park and on Mount Kenya, or epic helicopter trips to flamingo filled lakes and other wonders.

Day 5,6&7: Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you will be driven to the nearby Nanyuki Airstrip where you will take a scheduled flight to the Maasai Mara National Reserve and Sala’s Camp. On landing, journey to the camp with a game drive en-route.
Experience in Masai Mara and at Sala’s Camp
Explore the famous Masai Mara National Reserve on spectacular morning and evening game drives, on which you will spot a diverse array of wildlife when they are most active. Enjoy scenic bush breakfasts and magical sundowners.
Back at the camp, soak up the wild views from your private deck and plunge pool, perhaps indulging in a spa treatments or simply enjoying the sounds of nature and watching wildlife wandering past on opposite side of the riverbank.
Overnight at Sala’s Camp
Day 8,9&10: Dian Beach, Kinondo Kwetu
After breakfast at the camp, you will be transferred to Keekorok Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Diani via Wilson Airport. On arrival, you will be met by our driver who will transfer you to your beachside paradise just a 25 minutes’ drive away.
Beach Experience at Kinondo Kwetu
Take this wonderful opportunity to relax in the sun and swim in the beautiful Indian Ocean. Kinonodo Kwetu offers an impressive array of watersports including kite surfing, deep-sea fishing and scuba diving, as well as land based activities like game drives to the nearby Shimba Hills National Park, horse riding along the beach and yoga. Massage and beauty treatments are on offer, as well as sauna, two swimming pools and a tennis court.

Day 11: Nairobi – Giraffe Manor
Enjoy your last beachside breakfast before heading to Diani Airport to fly back to Wilson Airport in Nairobi. You will be met and driven to the Giraffe Manor.
Experience at the Giraffe Manor
The Giraffe Manor is an exceptional boutique lodge on the Kenyan landscape with its own population of Nubian Giraffes that make it truly remarkable. The giraffes frequent the hotel to meet, greet and be fed by guests. Enjoy afternoon tea on the lawn alongside the giraffes, relax in the tranquil grounds and make use of the wonderful wellness facilities at The Retreat next door. There is a breeding and conservation programme at the Giraffe Centre located within the Manor’s grounds, which invites you to learn more about giraffe conservation. Close to the Giraffe, there are some great local excursions including the Sheldrick’s elephant orphanage (advance booking is required).
Note: The giraffe at the Giraffe Manor are wild and therefore we cannot guarantee interaction with them at any given time.
Day 12: The Retreat at Giraffe Manor & Departure
Your Luxury Kenya Safari comes to an end today, and what a better way to end it on a high by sharing an unforgettable breakfast with the world’s tallest animal – the giraffes. When you are ready, take a short stroll across the lawn to The Retreat at Giraffe Manor, the tranquil wellness centre located right next door. Here you can enjoy a day of deep relaxation in your heavenly day room suite, all – inclusive of delicious homegrown food, drinks, spa and gym facilities, the stunning infinity pool overlooking the giraffe sanctuary and airport transfers.
Our driver-guide will take you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for your return flight home.
Your departure time will depend on when your international flight departs Nairobi.
