Visitors are welcomed and entertained by the hospitable natives with melodramatic traditional performances with local musical instruments; accompanied with delicious local cuisines.

This tour will give you the chance to explore Uganda’s history and a great origin right from the pre-colonial Uganda to the post independent / post colonial Uganda. Pre-colonial Uganda will take us back in time of the shrines, kingdoms, palaces, caves, cultural dances while the pre-colonial Uganda will take us to the National parks and game reserves, a tour around the country’s capital city as well as other developing cities the technological development and much more. Brace yourself for this amazing journey that you are going to learn a lot from.

Day 1: TRANSFER FROM KAMPALA TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK.

Day 2: GAME DRIVE, BOAT CRUISE AND TOP OF THE FALLS HIKE

Day 3: MORNING GAME DRIVE AND TRANSFER TO MOROTO.

DAY 4: VISIT THE MANYATTAS AT PIAN UPE

Day 5: TRANSFER TO MBALE.

DAY 6: HIKE TO Mount Elgon NATIONAL PARK AND TRADITIONAL EXPERIENCE

DAY 7:  TRANSFER TO JINJA AND WHITE WATER RAFTING EXPERIENCE.

DAY 8: TRANSFER TO KAMPALA AND CITY TOUR

Day 1: TRANSFER FROM KAMPALA TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

 Our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel or place of residence in Kampala to transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. You will drive through the  North-west through the famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town, branch off for a visit to Zziwa Rhino sanctuary for a guided Rhino walk and picnic lunch. You will then proceed to Murchison falls National Park with sightseeing en-route to your Lodge.

Day 2: GAME DRIVE, BOAT CRUISE AND TOP OF THE FALLS HIKE

After your breakfast, your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena through the game drive and if you are lucky, the Lion. Return to the hotel for lunch. After lunch, go for a boat cruise upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”. En-route, marvel at the toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over this 17 km stretch you may see elephants, waterbuck and the Uganda Kob. This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. After the cruise, you will then proceed for a hike to the Top of the fall (approx. 1 hour). See where the world’s longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. Your driver/guide will be waiting for you to transfer you back to the lodge.

Day 3: MORNING GAME DRIVE AND TRANSFER TO MOROTO

After an early morning breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive for the last time through the park after which you will transfer to Moroto with lunch en-route. It is quite a long journey but worth it as you get to see a lot of amazing vegetations, the wildlife though they decrease in sight as the journey continues. Arrive in Moroto late evening where you will sign in to your hotel and relax for the rest of the evening.

DAY 4: VISIT THE MANYATTAS AT PIAN UPE

The Karamojong have a unique traditional lifestyle which they are proud of even though it is often misunderstood. The Karamojong are seen by other Ugandans as backward, uneducated, and there is a strong prejudice against them since they have resisted formal education and modernization, clinging to their traditional beliefs, rejecting outside religions such as Christianity (Christianity has made some inroads) relying on Akuj, the only God they worship.

You will get to witness the lifestyle of these people, get to see and participate in their traditional dances as well get to see the manyattas; the homesteads that they live in. after the day’s activities you will transfer back to the hotel for an evening’s relaxation and dinner.

Day 5: TRANSFER TO MBALE

After an early morning breakfast, you will transfer to Mbale with lunch en-route. There will be a stopover at the Uganda equator where you will be able to take great pictures. Mount Elgon at 4,321 meters high is an extinct volcano with Wagagai as its highest peak, and it first erupted over 24 million years back.

You will arrive in the evening and our guide will drop you off at the hotel  for dinner and relax for the rest of the evening.

DAY 6: HIKE TO Mount Elgon NATIONAL PARK AND TRADITIONAL EXPERIENCE

Today after your morning breakfast, our guide will pick you up for an exciting journey to Mount Elgon National Park. You will then go for an exciting hike to the highest peak where the mountain area offers a sight to a variety of unique forest monkeys and small antelopes, along with huge elephants and buffaloes.
The unique Sipi waterfalls, ancient enormous Stone Age cave paintings close to the Budadiri trail head, the scenic mountain peaks, the hot springs that bubble up at 4800c and gorges are to mention but some of the thrilling attraction the Elgon area has to offer. You will then head back to the hotel for lunch after which you will go for an exciting coffee experience. Get to learn the entire process of how the famous Arabic coffee is locally made and also participate in the whole process. You will also get a chance to witness the famous traditional ‘’ Imbalu’’ dance f the bagisu where young boys transition into men.

DAY 7:  TRANSFER TO JINJA AND WHITE WATER RAFTING EXPERIENCE

After your breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and transfer to the source of the Nile; Jinja. The journey only takes two hours and you get to see lots of adventure along the way. The rafting begins at the Source of the Nile at 09:30am with a comprehensive briefing and being fitted with the special rafting gear. The rafting is done on an 18 kilometer stretch of the Nile River and no prior experience of rafting is required.

The first few rapids are of low grade (1, 2) to build the confidence of the participants before guiding them gradually into the more challenging grades. A total of eight major rapids are rafted to maximize the adrenaline rush of this adventure.

You will also enjoy the beautiful scenery and thundering rapids of the White Nile and see incredible bird lifeas you drift quietly between the rapids. You will be treated to a barbecue and drinks after the rafting after which you will retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8: TRANSFER TO KAMPALA AND CITY TOUR

After your breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Kampala where you will get a chance to have a tour of the city. You can do a bicycle safari, take a vehicle ride or you do a walk tour. Some of the places you will get to visit are the Bahai temple, Kasubi royal tombs, the famous Gadaffi mosque, the Uganda martyrs Namugongo shrine, the taxi park and the various malls such as the Victoria mall and Acacia mall. You will also get a chance to visit the different restaurants and get to taste different savory dishes. You will also get to visit the Uganda Museum and go shopping for souvenirs. This will mark the end of our exciting trip!!!!!
