DETAILED ITINERARY OF 8 DAYS MASAI MARA, AMBOSELI AND DIANI BEACH SAFARI
DAY 1: Nairobi
On arrival in Nairobi City at Jomo Kenyatta International airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari driver –guide, he will give you a short briefing about what to expect on the safari and be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi.
Depending on your arrival time, you will have a short city if you arrive earlier than 04:00 pm. During the city tour, you will visit several sites in the city including The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Orphanage, Giraffe Center and Karen Blixen Museum.
If you arrive late in the evening, you will head straight to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: transfer to Masai Mara national reserve
Have early breakfast, checkout of your hotel and transfer to Masai Mara national reserve the greatest wildlife destination in Kenya, along the journey you will have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley view point to enjoy the views of the escarpments and take scenic photos.
You will arrive in the reserve in time for lunch which you will have at your lodge after checking in, you will enjoy your meals and rest for a while. In the afternoon you will head out for an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of Masai Mara national reserve. You will enjoy seeing many animals such as lions, warthogs, giraffes, elands, antelopes, gazelles, leopards, cheetahs among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Wake up early, have a cup of coffee and head to the reserve for an early morning game drive, early morning time is a perfect time to see abundant of wildlife most especially predators as they return from hunting and other animals before going into hiding because of the sun.
You will have high chances of spotting lions, elephants, cape buffaloes, cheetahs, zebras among others.
You will return to your lodge for late breakfast and rest for a while as you wait for lunch, in the afternoon you will return to the reserve for another game viewing expedition. Lookout for sights of animals and birds. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Optional Activities: Hot air balloon safari.

DAY 4: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
Have breakfast, checkout of your lodge and transfer to Amboseli national park which is a popular Kenya wildlife destination well known for hosting large herds of elephants and is crowned by a magnificent backdrop of the snowcapped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro – the tallest mountain in Africa.
Along the way, you will have en-route lunch in Nairobi and then proceed to Amboseli national park arriving in the late afternoon. When you arrive in the park, you will be welcomed by the scenic view of the Mountain Kilimanjaro, with en-route game drive you will head to your lodge. Check in, have dinner and stay overnight.

DAY 5: Amboseli National Park
Have early breakfast and transfer to Amboseli national park with your packed lunch boxes for a full day game drive, on this day you have ample time to explore Amboseli national park and you will have picnic lunch set in one of the picnic sites in the park.
As you explore the park on game drive you will enjoy spotting the big game such as lions, herds of elephants, warthogs, elands and over 400 bird species such as grey crowned crane, black bellied bustards, and goliath heron among others.
After watching the sunset, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6 -7: Diani Beach
After enjoying breakfast, you will bid Amboseli national park farewell and embark on a journey to Diani Beach on a drive of approximately 6 hours. You will arrive in time for lunch, check into your beach resort and enjoy your delicious meal.
During your stay at Diani Beach, you can choose to take a walk along the white Indian Ocean, visit the Marine national park for a diving excursion with the dolphins, do kitesurfing, sail in a dhow, visit the local fishing villages or relax at the resort reading a book or taking a swim in the swimming pool.

DAY 8: Nairobi and departure
After a leisure breakfast, you will transfer to Ukunda Airstrip to catch your flight to NAIROBI’s Wilson Airstrip, upon arriving you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for flight back home.
