Detailed itinerary of 7 Days fly-in Grumeti River Wildebeest Migration & Ngorongoro Safari
Day 1: Flight from Arusha to Grumeti airstrip – Grumeti area
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for a flight to Grumeti Area in the western plains of Serengeti national park. On arrival, you will be picked up by our guide and ne transferred to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will for an afternoon game drive in the Grumeti Area.

Day 2: Full day game drives in the Grumeti area
After enjoying breakfast, you will head to the Grumeti Area situated west of the Seronera Area for full day game drives with your packed lunch, the Grumeti area is fed by the Grumeti and Mbalageti river which is why the area is favorable for wildlife all year round compared to the southern plains of the Serengeti. During the game drive you will see the migrating herds as they traverse, depending on the timing of the rains. You will see lions, giraffes, elephants which are residents in the region south of the Grumeti. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning game drive in Grumeti area and afternoon transfer to central Serengeti
After breakfast, you will head to the western corridor for a morning game drive offering you more time to follow the migratory herds and the dangers they face in their battle for survival. In the area, there are also other resident wildlife which you will see including hippos and many birds including majestic martial eagles.
In the afternoon, you will drive to the central Serengeti. You will have en-route game drive as you head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Full day Game drives in the Serengeti NP
After breakfast, you will head to the plains of Serengeti national park for full day game drives with your packed lunch, during the game drive you will marvel at the stunning scenery, ever – changing light and several wildlife including large prides of lions, elephants among others.
You will have picnic lunch and then set off again in search for wildlife, then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Morning game drive in Serengeti and afternoon transfer to Ngorongoro crater
After a leisure breakfast, you will head off on our morning game drive, later you will drive to the Ngorongoro crater – the main attraction in Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The crater is an 8th wonder in the world and the largest intact caldera, arrive in the evening, checking into your lodge and stay overnight.

Day 6: Full day game drive in the Ngorongoro crater
After breakfast, you will descend to the floor of Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, the crater is the world’s largest caldera and its floor is full of grassland, forest and swamp. During the game drive you will encounter a huge population of wildlife recorded to be more than 25,000 large mammals including elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, hippos, waterbucks, baboons, rare black rhinos among others.
You will have picnic lunch and continue with exploring the crater floor, the evening you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: fly back to Arusha
After a leisure morning breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge and drive the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha Airstrip, upon landing you will be picked up by our guide and be transferred either at your hotel or at Kilimanjaro International airport for your flight back home.
