Detailed itinerary of 7 Days Fly-in Grumeti River Wildebeest Migration & Ngorongoro Safari
Day 1: Flight from Arusha to Grumeti airstrip in the Grumeti area
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will be transferred to Arusha Airstrip for your domestic flight to Grumeti Airstrip found in the Grumeti Area in the Western plains of Serengeti National Park.
On arrival, you will be welcomed and picked up by your guide and be transferred to your lodge with a short en-route game drive to enjoy a hotel meal before embarking on an afternoon game drive in the area. After enjoying sights of various animals including lions, zebras, gazelles, giraffes and among others, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full day game drives in the Grumeti area
Enjoy a mouthwatering breakfast and head to the Grumeti area for a full day game drive. Following the great migration moving in large columns.
The Grumeti Area is situated west of Seronera, feed by the waters of Grumeti and Mbalageti rivers which ensure that the Western Corridor is favorable for wildlife all year round compared to the southern plains of the Serengeti. This attracts the migrating herds to this area, expect good wildlife viewing in this area through the year and the Great Migration is usually seen from late May and throughout June as the herds traverse the Western Corridor. Of course, this depends on the timing of the rains but in any event. There are lions, giraffes and elephants which are residents in the region south of the Grumeti.

Day 3: Morning game drive in Grumeti area and afternoon transfer to central Serengeti
Have breakfast at your lodge and head to the incredible western corridor again for a morning game drive, this allows you to further time to wonder at the migratory herds, the dangers and challenges they face each year in their battle for survival. You will also see other wildlife like hippos as well as birds.
In addition to the migrating animals, this area also has a good population of resident wildlife so you will not be disappointed. In the afternoon, you will take a short drive to the central part of Serengeti with en-route game drive. Head to your lodge for check-in, relaxation and your evening meal.

Day 4: Full day Game drives in the Serengeti National Park
Wake up on the sights and sounds of the beautiful Serengeti, enjoy your breakfast and start your day with a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, marveling at the stunning scenery, ever-changing light and always entertaining wildlife all explained by your expert guide.
After enjoying picnic lunch, you will set off again searching for wildlife including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, the migrating wildebeests. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Morning game drive in Serengeti and afternoon transfer to Ngorongoro crater
Enjoy breakfast and head for the last morning game drive in the plains of Serengeti, later you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater located in in Ngorongoro Conservation Area with en-route game drive.

Day 6: Full day game drive in the Ngorongoro crater
Ngorongoro Crater often referred to as a wonder of the world is a great Tanzania safari destination to visit and explore, the crater is the largest intact and unfilled caldera in the world. This volcanic caldera is full of grassland, forest and swamp, a setting of jaw-dropping beauty. The crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals.
After breakfast at your lodge, you will descend to the crater floor for a full game drive. As you explore the crater floor, you will enjoy sight of various animals including waterbucks, olive baboons, zebras, giraffes, gazelles, wildebeests, lions leopards, cheetahs, even the rre black rhino among others.
You will enjoy picnic lunch and continue exploring the crater floor, later return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Drive back to Arusha
After morning breakfast depending you flight schedule, you will be driven to the airstrip for your domestic flight back to Arusha.
On arriving, you will be picked up by our guide and be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international flight back home.
