5 Days Uganda gorilla and wildlife experience

This safari will reveal to you the wondrous beauties of both Queen Elizabeth National park and Bwindi Impenetrable National park both located in the western and southwestern part of Uganda. The tour is highlighted by a number of activities like Gorilla Tracking, Game drives, nature walks, boat cruises, and creative photography among others.

Trip Highlights

Gorilla tracking where you will get to be up-close while learning more about these cheeky animals plus also Nature walks. Encounter these fascinating primates.

Zip lining on top across the insanely beautiful Lake Bunyonyi where you will get to see the wonderful scenery. This lake is actually free of bilharzias and absolutely safe for swimming although it is very deep and also have a boat cruise on the insanely beautiful Lake Bunyonyi while you get to see the Flora, fauna and the stunning views of the beautiful islands.

Game drives in Queen Elizabeth national park that is through the game park enjoying the stunning views of nature together with the beautiful mornings driving through the jungle. The park has several spots of well maintained game viewing tracks.

This park has got over 200kms of well maintained game tracks and the best time for game drives is early in the morning where there are high chances of seeing elephants, buffaloes, lions and a variety of antelopes and other wildlife species.

A serene boat cruise at the Kazinga Chanel; this is one of the highlights of this destination, known for having the highest concentration of hippos in Uganda. Here you will get to see a number of other animal species while viewing the wondrous sceneries.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park

Our driver guide will pick you up at an agreed location in Kampala to transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. You will have a few stopovers for refreshments and lunch will be in Mbarara town at Igongo cultural center. You will commence your journey to the park and upon arrival; you will check into your hotel freshen up, have dinner and rest up for the following day

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Early morning breakfast, then transfer to the briefing area to go for Gorilla tracking. On arrival, check in and then head for gorilla tracking which gives you an exceptional trekking experience while in the rain forests looking for families of these mountain gorilla groups. Looking for these stunning giants is surely the most exciting encounter you can’t miss out on the trip. In the afternoon, transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable national Park to Lake Bunyonyi at arcadia lodges Lake Bunyonyi for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Island visiting, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.

After a delicious breakfast, you will start of your day with boat cruise here head for zip lining. Here you will swing on top of the serene waters of Lake Bunyonyi on high Ropes which are connected to trees on the opposite shores of the lake and from one point to another while you enjoy professional photography to capture those lasting wonderful memories. You will head back to your hotel for lunch and refreshments after which you will then transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park proceed to the lodge for dinner & overnight stay

Queen Elizabeth national park is Uganda’s most famous national park given these tree climbing lions.

 Day 4: Early morning go for chimpanzee tracking and afternoon boat trip

Early morning breakfast, then you shall go for chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura gorge the eastern side of the park as we enjoy the beautiful sounds of the birds. Chimpanzee tracking you will walk through the trails till you meet the chimpanzees and then later transfer back to the lodge for lunch.

In the evening at around 3 pm, go for a boat trip on the Kazinga channel which is one of the highlights of this destination known for having the highest concentration of hippos in Uganda. Return to your lodge for evenings rest and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer Back to Kampala

Early transfer to Ishasha sector transfer back to Kampala and on your way; you will make a few stopovers for refreshments and at Kayabwe Equator for a few photos. Arrival will be in the evening at an agreed drop off point.

  6. CANCELLATION POLICY

The following policies apply to all confirmed bookings made by the client;

  1. Cancellations received within 30 -10 days’ notice to date of departure will incur 25 % charge
  2. Cancellations received within 9-2 days’ notice to date of departure will incur 50% charge
  3. Cancellations received within less than 48 hours to date of departure incur the full charge
  4. No shows without communication over the whole safari period will be charged 100%
  5. Cancellations of bookings in peak seasons (Christmas, New Year and Easter) received 60 days to date of departure will incur a cancellation charge of 100%
  6. Cancellations must be advised in writing via email to the reservations or tours manager.
