SAFARI SUMMARY

Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park (6 hours)
Our driver guide will pick you up from an agreed location in Kampala to Kibale forest national park. On arrival, check into your lodge and lunch will be served, savor the cool breeze and scenic view of the forest. Later on, dinner will be served.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland SanctuaryTour
Have early morning breakfast before departing to the park headquarters where you will be given a safety and tracking briefing. You will then be taken by vehicle to a starting point, to commence your chimpazee trek in the forest. After this phenomenal wildlife experience, return to your vehicle on the edge of the forest, returning to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, visit the bigodi women’s group for a broad walk trail in the papyrus swamp and enjoy bird watching, visit the homesteads and observe traditional food being prepared, also, purchase souvenirs at the women’s group shop and contribute to the development efforts of this community, return back to the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park (6hours)
After early breakfast, check out of your lodge and depart for Bwindi, pass through Queen Elizabeth national park and watch out for game grazing in the savannah plains en route like elephants, buffalos, antelopes, warthogs and other wildlife. There will be a stopover mid -way the journey for lunch then ccontinue to Bwindi for your ultimate gorilla experience. Accommodation: Full board meal plan
Day 4: Gorilla trekking and visit to Batwa community
After a short briefing by the ranger guide at the headquarters, you will proceed through the dense bush to trek for the opportunity to see these endangered animals in their natural habitat. Enjoy the gorillas as they feed their young or play for at least an hour.
After this, meet one of the world’s oldest people in a living history encounter with the famous Batwa tribe, enjoy their traditional dance performance and give them gifts, here, basic needs materials are legal tender. Return to your lodge for leisure. Over- night stay

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala (8 hours)
Enjoy your early morning breakfast and check out of the lodge in preparation for the journey back to Kampala. There will be a stop-over in Mbarara town for lunch and equator for photography. Also visit Mpambire the drum makers point for a brief cultural experience, buy souvenirs and proceed to Kampala. Arrival will be in the evening and you will be dropped off at an agreed location.
