DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: arrival in Zanzibar and transfer to your beach hotel
Upon arrival in Zanzibar at Zanzibar Airport “Abeid Amani Karune International Airport” you will be warmly received and welcomed by your safari – driver guide (a representative of Petinah Africa Tours and Travel). He will give you a short briefing on what to expect on this holiday on Zanzibar Island and then transfer to your resort. You will spend the evening at the resort on your own leisure, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2-3: leisure at your beach resort
You will spend these two days at your own leisure at the beach resort, during your stay you can choose to cool off at the resort’s swimming pool or at Indian Ocean, take a walk along the crystal white sands of the beach or interact with the local people along the beach.
If you are more adventurous, you can participate in memorable water activities such as snorkeling, diving, swimming and a sunset dhow cruise on which you will enjoy a romantic candle lit dinner. The dhow cruise is perfect for lovers on a honeymoon holiday in Zanzibar.

Day 4: Stone Town Tour and transfer to the airport
Have an early breakfast at your resort, meet your driver and the local guide and head to the Stone Town – a UNESCO World Heritage site for a short tour. Stone Town I a fascinating town with unique architecture influenced by the foreigners who have visited and stayed on Zanzibar Island including the Portuguese, Persians, Arabs, Indians and British and their influence is still visible. During your tour, you will visit the colorful market buzzing with the local people trading in different stuff and items, visit the 19th Century Cathedral which was built on the former site of the slave trade after its abolition in 1873.
You will wander through the narrow streets and alleys of the town, pass by the Arab houses with their inner courtyards hidden behind heavy doors and get an opportunity to compare their style with Indian residences. The houses are adorned with balustrades and metal railing, other sites you will visit include the Tip Tip House, the Old Fort and the People’s Palace Museum.
You will have lunch at The Silk Route Indian RoofTop restaurans in the stone town while enjoying the amazing Indian Ocean views, then you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
