Detailed itinerary of 3 days Zanzibar Holiday Tour

Day 1: Arrival

Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide, he will give you a short briefing about what to experience on this holiday.

Depending on the time of your arrival, you will either head to your resort (if you arrive in evening) or go for a tour in the Stone Town (if you arrive earlier). During the Stone Town Tour you will be guided by your guide as you talk a walk through the narrow streets of this historical town, you will enjoy the history, culture and architectural of this beautiful town and meet many local people, visit the Slave Trade Market where you will learn about the history of slave trade.

The Stone Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this fascinating town boasts a mixture of cultures and architecture influenced by African Arabs, Persians and Europeans.

In the evening, you will head to your lodge in Stone Town for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Dolphin swimming and visit Jozan Park

Have breakfast at your leisure, leave your hotel and transfer to the South Coast for a dolphin tour in Kizinkazi, at this site you will be able to take a swim with hundreds of spinner and bottle – nose dolphins playing in the waters off Kizimkazi Beach. You will also enjoy the scenic views of the Indian Ocean and its blue waters, at lunch you will enjoy your meals at the beach resort.

In the afternoon, you will head to the Jozani Forest for a tour. This beautiful forest is dominated by Mangrove trees and while on a guided nature walk, you will spot the red colobus monkeys swimming on trees and see various fish species. Afterwards, you will head to Zala Park where you will have an encounter with the local people and learn how the local people are protecting the natural living reptiles creatively. In the evening you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Spice Tour and Departure

After breakfast, you will meet your guide and go for a spice and botanical tour. During the tour you will explore the huge spice plantations where you will be welcomed by the amazing aroma of different spices such as nutmeg, ginger among others, taste the tropical fruits and purchase ornaments, medicines and spices from the local stands along the plantations. You will also visit the Kidichi bath built in 1850 by the first sultan for his wife Sheharzard – grand dauty of Feteh Ali Shah of Persia.

After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
