3 Days Team Building Trip To Bwindi (gorilla trekking) : This Team Building Trip takes on a visit to the home of the mountain gorillas, Bwindi impenetrable national park in South Western Uganda. This park is a home to half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas which is the largest gorilla numbers to be in one place recorded to be over 1,000 individuals.

Bwindi impenetrable national park is a UNESCO World Heritage is the best destination in the world to encounter mountain gorillas, on a mountain gorilla trekking activity.

These gorillas were taken through habituation process as a way of making them familiar with human presence.
• Visit to the Batwa Pygmies cultural village – to forest people who used to thrive in the forests of Bwindi together with mountain gorillas and other creatures. On the visit you get a deeper insight into the local culture and traditions of the local Batwa people.

Detailed itinerary of 3 Days Team Building Trip To Bwindi (gorilla trekking)

Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Bwindi National park

You will be picked from your offices or preferred location in Kampala city by our driver –guide, after taking you through what to expect on this team building tour. You will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park found in South Western Uganda on a journey of 8-9 hours, along the way you will have several stopovers, one at the Equator Crossing in Kayabwe – Masaka for pictures and in Mbarara for lunch. Proceed to Bwindi arriving in the evening, check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Trekking with Uganda Gorillas – Batwa Pygmies visit
wake early for breakfast and head to the park’s headquarters for briefing at 07:00 am conducted by a Ranger, in the briefing trekkers will be taken through the rules and regulations to follow and what to expect from this activity. You will be grouped into 8 people and be assigned one of the many habituated mountain gorilla families in Bwindi to trek, then hike into the jungle of Bwindi looking for mountain gorillas with a ranger as head.

Gorilla tracking is a challenging experience taking approximately 3-6 hours depending on the movement of mountain gorillas and where they spend their previous night, the fitness of the trekkers are also but into consideration. When find the gorillas, you will spend one hour of watching the little gorillas roll and play around, gorillas picking fruits, silverbacks protecting their family  and female gorillas grooming the young ones.

After one hour, you will be trek back to the park’s headquarters and then head back to your lodge for lunch, in the afternoon you will go for a visit to the Batwa Pygmy cultural community- the original forest people who used to inhabit in the forests of Bwindi. During the visit you will experience the local lifestyle of the Batwa people and participate in activities such as visiting the local medicine man where you will learn how to use plants to cure illnesses, demonstration of hunting skills, making of fire locally and be entertained by local dances and drama. In the evening you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

 Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala for departure

After breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge, bid farewell to Bwindi impenetrable national park and transfer back to Kampala. On your way you will have lunch in Mbarara and when you arrive in Kampala, you will be dropped off either at your offices or at your preferred location.
