This tour takes you a visit to Lake Mburo national park – the smallest savannah national park but very rewarding as it is a home to the largest population of zebras in Uganda and other animals such as hippos, crocodiles, warthogs, bush pigs, hyenas, waterbucks, Eland, Topis, reedbucks, sitatunga, zebras, vervet monkeys, side-striped jackals, white-tailed mongoose, otters, baboons and an amazing collection of birds which make it a great destination for a team building experience.

Game viewing – through the savannah plains of while enjoying the scenic views of the landscape dotted with rolling hills, rocky out crops and a chain of lakes, Lake Mburo national park has well maintained game viewing tracks used during game drives and offer high chances of seeing animals such as buffaloes, zebras, baboons, side-stripped jackals among others. Morning game drive is the best experience to see high numbers of animals.
Stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe in Masaka – for a photography session at the Equator landmark, stand in both Northern and Southern Hemisphere at one point and purchase African fabrics and hand-made craft pieces.
Boat cruise along Lake Mburo – offering you a chance to see a variety of water bird species such as herons and animals such as hippos, crocodiles and antelopes among others congregating at the shores of the lake to drink water.
detailed itinerary of 3 DAYS TEAM BUILDING TOUR TO LAKE mBURO nATIONAL PARK
Day 1: Pickup from Kampala City and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and go for a Game drive
You will be picked from your office or preferred location in Kampala and transfer to Lake Mburo national park on a journey of approximately 4 hours, along the way you will enjoy will enjoy views of stretch of papyrus swamps, rainforests and cattle ranches in Mbarara Town.
You will have stopover in Kayabwe at the equator crossing for pictures and getting a chance to stand in both Northern and Southern Hemisphere at one point, when you arrive in Lake Mburo national park you will check into your lodge for refreshment and lunch. In the afternoon you will go for a game drive, as you drive on game viewing trails such as the Kigambira loop trail you will watch several animals such as Buffaloes, bush babies, zebras, Elands, antelopes among others.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game drive and Afternoon Boat cruise
Wake up early for breakfast and head to the park for an early morning game drive along the Kazuma track, during this experience you will enjoy amazing views of the park including scenic landscape comprising of rolling hills and a chain of 5 lakes. Morning game drive offers a chance to see a huge numbers of animals such as zebras, elands, waterbucks, bush bucks, warthogs, impalas, Klipspringer and predators such as spotted hyenas, leopards and jackals before they go into hiding because of the sun.
After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you will return to the park for a boat ride on Lake Mburo the biggest lake among the lakes in the park. Boat ride offers a chance to spot water birds such as hippos, Nile crocodiles and many birds on the shores of the lake such as the African fin foot, African grey hornbill, Brown Parrot, Common Scimitar bill, Crested Francolin, fish eagles, herons, Nubian Woodpecker, papyrus bush strike, pelicans, shoe bill stork, weaver birds, white winged warbler and Yellow breasted Apalis among others. With a game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Nature walk, or quad biking safari and transfer back to Kampala
Wake up early for breakfast and head to the park for an exciting nature walk experience, this activity is done on foot with an armed guide for protection purpose. Nature walks are done in the salt lick area offering visitors a chance to get close to nature and get a close up look of animals such as zebras, cape buffaloes, jackals, warthogs and impalas among others. Alternatively you can choose to do quad biking, horseback riding or go for a cultural experience in the Enyemebwa center for an encounter with the local Banyakole herdsmen with their unique long horned Ankole cows.
After the experience, you will have lunch at the long, check out and transfer back to Kampala where you will be dropped off at your preferred location or at your office.
