Detailed itinerary of 3 Days Riverside Tented South Africa Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Johannesburg, South Africa
On arrival at the airport in Johannesburg, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional Driver-Guide and transfer you to Kruger National Park via the scenic Panorama Route. Have en-route visit to Pilgrim’s Rest, God’s Window and the Graskop Falls. Arrive in at your riverside tented camp “Lions Rock Rapids or similar” in the afternoon, check-in, enjoy lunch and freshen up before we depart on a game drive in the Kruger National Park.
You will depart on an afternoon game drive or a sunset game drive in an open 4×4 Safari vehicle. The late afternoon offers the lower light game viewing with most of the animals heading down to the watering holes to quench their thirst, offering excellent game viewing opportunities.

Day 2: Full Day in Kruger National Park
After a delicious breakfast, your will be picked up from your lodge early in the morning for a full day game drive in an open 4×4 safari vehicle. Enter the vast Kruger National Park and enjoy a full day game drive with several stops during the day for you to freshen up and to stretch your legs. Your professional safari guide will ensure that your see the wildlife Kruger National Park is renowned for, he will also give you interesting facts and information on all aspects of the African bush and wildlife.
With a bit of luck, you will be able to see the Big Five – lion, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos and elephants. Other animals to lookout for during the game drive include spotted hyenas, giraffes, hippos, zebras, black-backed jackal, cheetah, wild dog, warthogs and various bird species.

Day 3: Departure
Wake up early for a cup of coffee and head for an early morning game drive to try and find the elusive animals that you might have missed on your previous game drives.
After your early morning game drive, we will return to the lodge for a full breakfast. Later checkout with your professional Driver-Guide and transfer back to Johannesburg for drop either at your hotel or at the airport for your flight back home.
