Detailed itinerary of Tarangire national park safari
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Tarangire national park
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will be picked up by a representative (a safari driver-guide) of Petnah Africa tours and travel. He will give you a short briefing about the safari then transfer to Tarangire national park, from Arusha it is a drive of approximately 3-4 hours to Tarangire.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch which you will have after checking in, in the afternoon you will go for a game drive exploring Tarangire national park and searching for animals inhabiting in the park. You will enjoy magnificent scenery created by the huge Baobab trees and watch many animals including leopards, lions, zebras, antelopes, elands, gazelles among others. The game drive will last till sunset, then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: full day in Tarangire national park
After breakfast, you will head to the park for a full day game drive, on this day you have a chance of exploring Tarangire national park to the fullest and enjoy picnic lunch at one of the picnic sites in the park.
During the game drives that is morning and afternoon game drives, lookout for several animals such as lions, leopards, big herds of elephants, elands, hartebeests, gazelles, impalas, zebras, kudus among others. You will also spot various beautiful bird species including hornbills, guinea fowl, steppe eagles, brown parrots, the gigantic lappet-faced vulture, white-bellied go away bird among others. Later in the evening, you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: cultural tour and Departure
After early breakfast at the lodge, you will head to Maasai homesteads situated along the borders of the park, during your visit to these homesteads you will participate in traditional dances, local activities such as grazing the cattle, milking, and making of local beads and others which will give you an insight in the everyday life of the local people. Thereafter, you will transfer back to Arusha where you will be dropped off either at the hotel or at the airport for your flight back home.
