Day 1: Transfer to SIPI Falls and Coffee tour – Kapchorwa (travel time 4 hours)

A driver guide will pick you from your hotel or place of residence to start your journey to eastern Uganda for aset of adventure tourism. On arrival in Mbale, check into your hotel, have lunch and head to Sipi falls for the hike to the 3 water fall series, enjoy the coffee tour and engage the locals as they transform coffee beans into beverage and return to Mbale town.

Later in the evening, enjoy the night life of Mbale, dinner and evening’s rest in Mt. Elgon Hotel

Day 2: Transfer to Jinja and visit to source of the Nile (3 hours)

After breakfast, check out and embark on your journey to East Africa’s adventure capital. Upon arrival, visit the source of the Nile where you will have lunch at Rumours on the Nile after which you will be guided to several monuments here, watch and film a traditional dance troupe entertaining tourists before the sunset boat cruise on the longest river in Africa, you will be taken to the actual source of the Nile for photography. You can also purchase souvenirs here.

Check into Jinja Resort hotel for dinner and overnight stay

Day 3: Visit to Griffin falls, Sezibwa falls and transfer to Kampala

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and head to Mabira forest for a guided nature walk to Griffin falls, while here, experience canopy zip line on the 6 cables in the rain forest before driving to Lugazi town for lunch.

Proceed tosezibwa falls where you will have a short guided walk of 30 minutes by a knowledgeable guide to the falls and be told the history of this place and it’s attachment to Buganda which is the tribe located in the central region of the country.

After this, proceed to Kampala and rest at your hotel or place of stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Murchison falls national park (travel time 6 hours)

 

You will be picked from your place of residence to start your journey northwards through Luweero triangle, stopover atZziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking and lunch at Kabalega dinner. This is the only place where you will see the endangered white rhinos and after go to Murchison falls national park, proceed to your hotel, check in and go for an evening game drive

Murchison Falls National Park is one of the most beautiful parks in Uganda. One of its main attractions is the Victoria Nile and the spectacular Murchison falls, where water is forced through a narrow gorge, expect to see elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and many birds.

Day 5: Nile boat cruise and transfer to Budongo forest reserve

After breakfast, check out and enjoy a game drive in this beautiful national park on your way to the river bank, go for the hour longboat ridealong the calm Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls where you hear the thunderous fall of the water and hike to top where you see the magnificent beauty of this attraction. You will be driven to Budongo forest reserve and have lunch at Boomu Women’s Bandas.

Dinner and overnight stay here.

Day 6: Budongo forest reserve

After breakfast, you will be guided for a nature walk to watch birds and primates here, visit the Boomu Women’s project center and encounter story tellers and traditional entertainers, buy souvenirs to support the organized group in this place. Lunch at the bandas.

Budongo forest is a reserve within Murchison falls national park which has incredible biodiversity that includes several primate species like chimpanzees, blue monkeys, olive baboons and various bird species.

After lunch, check out and drive to Kibale, dinner and overnight stay at Rweteera Safari camp

Day 7: Kibale forest national Park Chimpanzee Trekking

After breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for briefing by your days guide then you will be guided into the forest to track chimpanzees, pack snacks because it will take most of the day.Kibale forest is a spectacular jungle, with different primate species including chimps, baboons, red colobus, L’Hoest monkey among others .and various bird species.

Return to the hotel for late lunch and rest, overnight stay at Rweteera Safari Camp.

Day 8: Bigodi Community walk and transfer to Fort Portal Town

After breakfast, you will be guided to Bigodi community for a walk, mingle with the locals of this place and taste their traditionally prepared staple food for lunch.

You will see butterfly species as you visit the swamp- Bigodi wetland sanctuary. After lunch, visit the Bigodi community project center for entertainment by the traditional dancers here and engage in weaving baskets with the women, you could buy souvenirs to take home.

Drive to Fort Portal town for overnight stay. You can check out the night life of this tourism city. Dinner at hotel.

Day 9: Visit Amabere caves, crater lakes, Royal tombs and Kings palace

After break fast, you will be guided to the caves and told about the history of this mystical beauty, hike to the view point where you can see the crater lakes and then sight themountains of the moon beyond the horizon.

Return to the hotel for lunch after which you visit the palace of the Omukama of Toro Kingdom, enjoy photography with the beautiful hilly landscape in the background. After here, visit Karambi royal tombs, you will be wowed by the unique traditions of the people of Toro.

Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay

Day 10:Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park(travel time 3 hours)

After breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national parkpassing via the equator monument in Kasese town then proceed to your lodge for check in and lunch.

Queen Elizabeth national park is Uganda’s most popular destination with a variety of wild life to see like lions, buffaloes, many hippos, elephants, antelopes among others.

After lunch, go for an afternoon boat trip on the Kazinga channel. The Kazinga channel separates Lake George and Lake Edward; it also has the highest concentration of hippos and many species of water birds.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and rest.

Day 11: Game drive to Ishasha sector Queen Elizabeth national park

After breakfast, drive through Queen Elizabeth national park to the Ishasha sector South of the park in search of the rare tree climbing lions.

In Ishasha there are four prides of lions that climb trees which is very beautiful and unique. The other attractions of Ishasha are the Topis. Drive to Kabale town for the night.

Overnight stay at Cephas Inn Kabale. Lunch and dinner at hotel

Day 12: Bwindi impenetrable forest national park

Early morning drive to Bwindi impenetrable park headquarters with lunch boxes. On our way we shall pass through villages that have breathtaking views of the mountains afar.

While here, you will be briefed before being guided deep into the thicket to track the gorillas, this activity takes most of the day and earns you a certificate of trekking at the end of the adventure.

Bwindi impenetrable is a unique jungle harboring the endangered mountain gorillas and it is also a world heritage site. Return to your lodge for rest and dinner.

Day 13: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi (travel time 3 hours)

After breakfast, start the journey to Bunyonyi for another kind of wild adventure. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and have lunch, after which you go for the fascinating zip lining spree across lake Bunyonyi, the world’s third deepest lake, enjoy photography here and create memories then return to your lodge for dinner and rest.

DAY 14: Community visit to pygmy community and Island tour

After breakfast, you will be guided to the shores of lake Bunyonyi for a 2 -hour long boat cruise in the company of experienced and knowledgeable guides with the history of this spectacular place.

You can do one of the optional activities: a forest walk or community experience with the exceptional Batwa people. After lunch, drive to Mbarara town and check into your hotel for rest and dinner.

Overnight stay at Igongo cultural center

Day 15: Tour Igongo and transfer to Kampala (travel time 4 hours)

After breakfast, visit the museum here and learn about the history of the Ankole people, hike to the eclipse monument and return for lunch.

After lunch, embark on your journey back to Kampala with a stopover at Mpambire the royal drum makers point and equator monument for photography.

Arrival will be evening and you will be taken to your place of residence for the overnight stay and dinner.

The following policies apply to all confirmed bookings made by the client;

  1. Cancellations received within 30 -10 days’ notice to date of departure will incur 25 % charge
  2. Cancellations received within 9-2 days’ notice to date of departure will incur 50% charge
  3. Cancellations received within less than 48 hours to date of departure incur the full charge
  4. No shows without communication over the whole safari period will be charged 100%
  5. Cancellations of bookings in peak seasons (Christmas, new year and Easter) received 60 days to date of departure will incur a cancellation charge of 100%
  6. Cancellations must be advised in writing via email to the reservations or tours manager
