Detailed Itinerary of 14 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari & Beach Holiday
Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve: You will be up early, have breakfast at your hotel and after breakfast you will link up with the safari driver/ guide with whom you embark on a journey to Masai Mara National Reserve. This is a whole day journey and you will have lunch en route. You will be in Masai Mara in the evening and you will check into you accommodation, have dinner and a night rest.

Day 2: Full Day Excursion In Masai Mara National Reserve
Full day adventure in Masai Mara – You will be up early have breakfast and after breakfast, you will head to the park plains on a game drive to view the different animals that live in this park, that include lions, wildebeests, zebras, rhinos, cheetahs, warthogs and many more. On this game drive you will also spot several birds that make their home in this park. This is a while day game drive and you will have a picnic lunch on this day. The game drive will end in the evening and after you will retire to your accommodation for dinner and a night rest. Being a 2 days safari in Masai Mara, you may enjoy an optional Hot air balloon.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Naivasha
Transfer to Lake Naivasha: Wake up early have breakfast and after breakfast you will check out the park and head to Lake Naivasha. You will arrive in Naivasha in the early afternoon, you will then have lunch and after lunch you will head to the lake for a boat ride to experience the lake and see several water animals like hippos, and water birds. After the boat ride you will head to your accommodation, where you will have dinner and a night rest.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park: Have your breakfast at leisure, check out of your accommodation. You will then head to Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will arrive just in time for lunch. You will have lunch and after lunch you will head to the lake to enjoy an afternoon, bird watching and experiencing the ambience of the lake surrounding. After this experience you will head to your accommodation for the rest of the day at leisure. You will have dinner and a night rest at your accommodation.

DAY 5: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park to Amboseli National Park – Embark on the 3-4 hour drive from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. After a leisurely early afternoon, we proceed for a game drive. Viewing wildlife against the backdrop of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free standing mountain on our planet and Africa’s highest peak, makes Amboseli a real spectacle. Keep your eyes open and cameras ready for shots of large herds of elephants and plains game, giraffes, gazelles, lions and leopards, among others roaming the plains. DAY 6: Amboseli – Game drives and visit the local Maasai people (optional activity)
Full Day Game Viewing with visit to Masai People – Enjoy an entire day full of game drives in the park. Known the world over as one of the best places to get up close to free-ranging elephants, expect to see these magnificent animals, as well as Cape buffalo, cheetah, zebra, wildebeest and impala, among numerous others. You will the local Masai Community where you will interact with the local Masai people and enjoy their beautiful culture, be entertained by local dances and drama among other.
DAY 7: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park
Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park – After breakfast, our adventure continues through dry shrub land, and we will cross the great lava flow of Mt Kilimanjaro (now a dormant volcano) and the Chyulu Hills to Tsavo West National Park. We will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, we proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive and visit to the Rhino Sanctuary, a safe haven for the area’s black rhino.
The sanctuary, although only open from 4pm to 6pm each day, provides a rare glimpse into the protected habitat of these animals that have been threatened by extinction since the 1980s due to overhunting. Overnight at Man Eater’s Safari Lodge.
DAY 8: Tsavo West – Game drives
Full day of game drives in Tsavo West – Kenya’s largest park famous for its large herds of elephants. Wild animals will spice up your date with the Tsavo including elephants, Masai giraffes, lesser kudus, zebras, dik diks, lions, leopards, and cheetahs, among others. Tsavo West is also well known for its one-of-a-kind volcanic features, including ‘Five Sisters,’ the five cone-shaped hills nestled in one area and resembling one another. The Chaumu and Shetani lava flows are also major highlights, and we’ll pass Whistling Rock, the rocky hill that produces whistling sound when there are strong winds.
We will also visit the Mzima springs, a phenomenal fresh water body that gushes suddenly from underground rocks in the midst of dry patchy woodlands. From the safety of an underwater observation tank you will have the fantastic opportunity to see submerged hippo, crocodiles and fish on the floor of the springs. The word ‘mzima’ is Swahili for ‘life’ and this water feature draws its name from its role literally giving much-needed life in one of the most arid parks in Kenya. Overnight .
Day 9: Transfer From Tsavo West National Park To Tsavo East National Park
Transfer to Tsavo East National Park – you will wake up in the morning for breakfast, checkout of your lodge by 10:00 am and embark on your journey to Tsavo east national park which is a drive of 2-3 hours. As you exit the park you will have an en-route game viewing and you will reach in the park in the afternoon time for lunch. You will check into your lodge, have lunch and in the afternoon you will have a game drive. Tsavo east national park is an excellent game viewing and a habitant for many animals such as lions, elephants, Masai giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippopotamuses and many more. After the game drive you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight at Voi Wildlife Lodge.
Day 10: Full Day Game Drive In Tsavo East National Park
Full Game Drive in Tsavo East – you will wake up early in the morning for morning breakfast and then drive to the park for a full day of touring together with your packed lunch, upon arriving in the park you will have a game drive where you see many animals such as lions, elephants, buffaloes and many more. In lunch you will have a picnic lunch and in the afternoon you will go for another game drive where you will spot animals such as elephants, lions and many more. On the same drive you can get to visit Lugard falls for magnificent views, after the game drive you will drive back to the lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
DAY 11: Tsavo East – Diani – Mombasa
Transfer to Diani Beach – after breakfast at your lodge, you will check out and embark on a journey to Mombasa heading Diani Beach. You will arrive in time for lunch which you will enjoy after check-in. Spend the remainder of the day lounging at the beach hotel or talk a stroll along the beach.

Day 12: Wasini Island and Snorkelling in Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park
Visit Wasini Island and Snorkeling – After breakfast, you will be transferred to Shimoni further south of Diani where you will board a traditional Arabic white-sailed dhow on an exciting excursion to look for dolphins and it may be possible to jump overboard and swim with them. You will then sail into the Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park for snorkelling and the protected area has a high diversity of marine life with fringing and offshore reefs with hard and soft corals. The water is pure, warm and turquoise in colour, and there are thousands of fish in a dazzling array of sizes, shapes and colours just below the surface. On tiny Wasini Island,which lies just offshore from Shimoni and falls within the marine park,enjoy a delicious seafood lunch and you’ll be given a talk about the Swahili people and the Arab history of this part of the coast. Then enjoy a relaxed afternoon spent lazing on day beds in the restaurant gardens before returning to your resort.
Day 13 – Ride the Diani quad bikes and visit Shimba Hills
Quad Bikes and Visit Shimba Hills “Today is a full, fun, activity day” – After breakfast, you will head out on the day’s tours. Enjoy a thrilling quad bike ride on dirt roads through small rural villages and the beautiful forested scenery that lies alongside Diani Beach. Then you will enjoy a relaxed lunch at a local restaurant and taste some delicious authentic Swahili dishes.Later, you head out for a tour of the lovely coastal forest, rolling grasslands and scrubland in Shimba Hills National Reserve. Here you can take a leisurely walk to the pretty Sheldrick Falls which cascades down a rocky cliff into an inviting pool at the bottom where you can swim. And also enjoy a game drive so see some of the reserve’s wildlife,which includes elephant, buffalo, hartebeest, impala and vervet monkey, and this is Kenya’s only protected area where you can seethe rare sable antelope. Back at your resort enjoy a last seafood dinner and perhaps cocktails with your feet in the sand at a Diani Beach bar overlooking the ocean.
Day 14 – Diani Beach – Departure Airport
Depart Back to Nairobi: After a final leisurely breakfast in the sunshine, depending on your schedule, spend the morning relaxing by the pool or on the beach before you will be transferred to the airport to Nairobi where you will be picked up by our guide and be transferred to your hotel or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight back home
