Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Kenya
On arrival in Kenya at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative – driver guide and transfer to your hotel in Nairobi City. Depending on your arrival, you will have a short city tour (that is if you arrive in the morning) visiting the Giraffe Center where you will have a chance to feed the giraffes and the Karen Blixen Museum.
Have dinner and overnight at the beautiful Hemingways hotel – Nairobi which is situated away from the bustle and hustle of the city, the hotel offers exceptional services and comfort.
Day 2: Fly to Masai Mara
After a romantic breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide and be transferred to Wilson Airport – a domestic Airport in Nairobi in time for your domestic flight to Masai Mara. It is approximately 1 hour flight and along the way, you will enoy a bird’s eye view of the Incredible Kenyan Savannah.
On arrival, your guide will greet you from the plane and drive you on to the camp on a 30-minute journey in a private 4×4 safari vehicle.
On arrival at your super romantic safari camp, you will have plenty of time to take your first afternoon game drive on which you will spot some of the Mara’s Bug Game with your qualified local guides. Head back to your camp for a mouth – watering dinner under the stars.
Have dinner and overnight at Kempinski Olare Mara – a 5-star exclusive luxury tented camp.
Day: 3 & 4: The Masai Mara
Wake up early on the evocative sounds of the bush and head out for game drives in a 4×4 safari vehicle, during the drive you will enjoy sights of buffaloes, giraffes, prides of lions, cheetahs and leopards among others roaming in the endless plains of Masai Mara.
Afterwards, you will head to the camp for a hearty breakfast. Take a hot shower and enjoy a cup of coffee on your veranda overlooking the plains or chill out with fellow guests.
If you are lucky enough and visit in a perfect time for the Great Wildebeest Migration, you will be witnessing the Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti and watch them cross the Mara River.
In the afternoon, you will go for another game drives this time taking a different route may be to a waterhole or a special site your guide is keen to share with you. Sundowner will be served en route, toasting to the day’s discoveries as you take in the magnificent views at sunset.
Head back to the camp for a wonderful candle lit dinner, afterwards you will gather around the campfire for a leisurely nightcap.
Day 5: Morning game drive and fly back to Nairobi
Wake up early for game drive for sights of more elusive animals and return to your camp for a delicious bush breakfast picnic.
After lunch, you may go for a walking safari organized by the camp.
Later be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airstrip, you will be picked up by our guide and be transferred to Hemingway’s Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 & 7: Mahe
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your direct flight to Mahe- the largest island in the Seychelles Archipelago with a flight of over three hours.
On arrival, you will meet our representative at the airport and be driven to your luxury beachfront hotel where you will spend 2 enchanting days on this beautiful Island with its secluded white sand beaches and swaying palms.
You can choose to take a boat trip out on the crystal-clear Indian Ocean to superb snorkeling areas that are home to a dazzling array of fish and coral, turtles and rays. While on fishing trips, you can catch tuna, dorado and marlin fish. Alternatively, you can do guided tours or hikes into the island’s glorious interior which will be incredibly rewarding. Browse the market in Victoria, the Hindu Temple and the botanical gardens or tour the local tea factor for a taste of the local brew.
You will have plenty of time at leisure to enjoy the hotel’s delightful pool and stroll along the beach before you head on to your next destination.
Day 8 to 12: La Digue
After breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel on Mahe and be transferred back to the airport for a short flight to the Island of Praslin. You will be greeted by your driver upon arrival for a private transfer to the jetty at Baie St Anne, from here you will board a ferry to La Digue, the smallest of the three main islands in the Seychelles and is an absolute jewel with its stunning, pristine white beaches and lush, jungle interior.
On arrival, you will be met by our representative – drive guide and be transferred to your luxurious hotel tucked away on the hillside overlooking the sparking waters of the Indian Ocean.
There are few vehicles on the island so the best way to get around is by bicycle and is a real joy to discover the other beaches for yourself, the beaches are ideal for a great surf and swimming.
At your resort, you will take advantage of the treatments on offer at the soothing spa, hop on a boat for a barbecue and snorkeling trip or simply stretch out beside the pool with an exotic cocktail and celebrate a new married life.
Day 13: Departure
Have breakfast at leisure and spend some time on lazy before you are collected and transferred to the ferry to return to Praslin and to check in for your short domestic flight to Mahe. From here, you will board your evening connecting international flight back home.
