Detailed Itinerary of 10 Days Magical Kenya Safari
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Maasai Mara
Pick up from your Hotel in Nairobi at 07:30 am after breakfast by your safari – driver guide, after a short safari briefing you will embark on a journey to Masai Mara National Reserve. A long the way, you will drive through the Great Rift Valley with a stopover at the view point for views of the magnificent rift valley escarpment.
Proceed to the reserve passing through the Narok Town where you will interact with local Masai people and get a chance to buy beautiful Masai artifacts such as necklaces, earrings and crafts among others.
When you arrive in the reserve, you will check in at the lodge for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, you will head to the reserve for an afternoon game drive on which you will spot various animals such as lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, the Masai giraffes, zebras among others. In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2-3: Full day in Maasai Mara
Wake up early for breakfast and head to the reserve with your packed lunch boxes for a full day of game viewing and exploring the endless plains, you will do morning and afternoon game drive with picnic lunch set along the banks of Mara River where you will see the hippos and crocodiles as you enjoy your meals.
Full day game drives provide you the opportunity to spot various animals calling the endless plains of the reserve home such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, cheetahs, waterbucks, antelopes, African wild dogs, hyenas and giraffes among others. In the evening, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer from Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru
Wake up early for a cup of coffee and head to the reserve for early morning game drive which is a perfect experience to see predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, African wild dogs as they return to their dens from their shopping sprees.
Return to the lodge for a full breakfast, check out and embark on a journey to Lake Nakuru National Park- a birder’s paradise famously known for host huge flocks of flamingoes. The park is also home to the largest population of rhinos in Kenya as well as Rothschild flamingoes.
You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge after check-in, later head to the park for an afternoon game drive exploring the park and enjoy sights of rhinos, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes and many birds along the shores of Lake Nakuru. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
Have early breakfast, checkout of your lodge and embark on a journey to Amboseli National Park – the second popular wildlife destination in Kenya renowned for its large herds of elephants and the iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro snow-capped summit.
Along the way, you will have lunch in Nairobi City and proceed to Amboseli National Park arriving in evening, check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Have breakfast and head to the park for a morning game drive, you will be welcomed by the scenic backdrop of snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro – the tallest mountain in Africa. During the game drive you will explore various habitants in the park ranging from the dried-up ed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands, savannah and woodlands and sulphur springs. You will see many animals including large herds of elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, buffalo, elephants, lesser kudus among others.
You will return to your lodge for lunch and short rest, in the afternoon you will return to the park for another game drive till evening.

Day 7: Amboseli National Park to Tsavo West National Park
After an early breakfast depart of Tsavo West National Park which lies roughly half way between Nairobi and the Coast. Mzima Springs, the chief marvel here is a favorite haunt of hippos and Nile crocodiles, these springs gushes more than 50 million gallons of crystal clear water a day and are the source of Mombasa’s water.
Arrive at your lodge or similar in time for lunch. Later embark on an early evening safari to see large herds of elephants, buffaloes, common waterbuck, eland, rhino and wide variety of antelopes. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Tsavo West National Park to Tsavo East National Park
We depart the lodge after breakfast and proceed to Tsavo East National Par with enroute game drive. Tsavo East is famed for its large herds of elephants covered in red dust and fine scenery. Visit the Lugard Falls, Mudanda Rocks which attracts elephants in the drier season and Aruba Dam for wildlife viewing.
Dinner and overnight at Voi Wildlife Lodge.
Day 9: Tsavo East National Park
Spend the full exploring Tsavo East National Park. Morning and afternoon game drives are on offer. Tsavo East’s landscape is flatter and drier, despite having one of Kenya’s largest rivers, the Galana River flowing through the middle. Some of the animals to lookout for include Nile crocodiles, Kudus, waterbucks, reedbucks, and dik-diks are common along the river banks.
Dinner and overnight at Voi Wildlife Lodge
Day 10: Tsavo East National Park – Nairobi
Have early morning breakfast, checkout of your lodge and embark on a journey back to Nairobi. You will be drop-off either at the hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight back home.
